Locally Grown Produce

We'll be opening a store at our farm on Woodland Avenue this year. The building is still being renovated, so there's no firm opening date, but we expect it will be in May. We haven't applied to any farmers markets yet this year, but will be doing so as funds become available. Sign-up for our mailing list for updates on when and where we'll be.

We have multiple garden plots around northeast Columbus where we grow our produce. Our farmstead is located at 2130 Paul Drive, Columbus, OH 43211 map and directions.

Here's what we'll be growing in 2012:

Several kinds of tomatoes

Several kinds of hot peppers

Bell peppers in assorted colors

Several kinds of kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, and other leafy greens

Snow peas

Green beans

Cucumbers

Butternut squash (possibly some other kinds of winter squash, too, including pumpkins)

Yellow squash and Zucchini

Several kinds of radishes

Several kinds of herbs

A few different kinds of beets

A few different kinds of eggplant

Okra

Amaranth

Black turtle beans

Sunflowers (possibly other cut flowers, too)

Turnips

Maybe a few kinds of carrots, onions, and cauliflower

Potatoes

Broccoli

We also have seed for several kinds of onions, cabbages, and melons, but we haven't decided yet whether they're worth doing.

Is there anything you'd really love to have that you don't see here? I'm open to suggestions.
